TUESDAY WIPEOUTS

FOR WOMEN
WHO SKI

Joining the Tuesday Wipeouts Ski Club is a fantastic way to connect with other women in the Twin Cities Greater Area who share a passion for skiing.

We welcome skiers of all levels!

With an emphasis on a fun, supportive and social atmosphere, we are more than just a women’s ski club.

Varied activities take place throughout the year.

Tuesday Wipeouts has a welcoming environment where women share experiences and foster friendships.

Yellow scarves allow us to easily find each other on the ski hill or chair lift.

Local Skiing, Ski Trips & More!

Founded in the 1960’s, a group of active women decided to start a club called the Tuesday Wipeouts as a way to get together and ski every week.

The times may have changed since then, but our goals remain the same, and we continue to ski every Tuesday during the day, at one of the regional resorts:

·      Afton Alps

·      Wild Mountain

·      Trollhaugen

·      Buck Hill

In addition, we ski on Tuesday evenings and/or Sunday mornings at either Afton Alps or Wild Mountain.

Besides skiing at regional resorts, we plan two extended ski trips.

  • A week-long trip to the mountains in February

  • A 3-day trip to Giant’s Ridge in Biwabik, Minnesota

Spring, Summer and Fall Fun

When the ski season comes to an end, Tuesday Wipeout activities keep going.

  • State Park Hikes

  • Arboretum Walks

  • Kayak & Canoe Trips

  • Area Trail Bike Rides

  • An Annual Fall Bike Trip - Root River State Trail staying in Lanesboro, Minnesota

No matter where we go or what we do, it always begins with fitness and fun – and ends with food and friendship.
